Ruby-cheeked Sunbird! Wow! what a great surprise to spot this very rare non-breeding visitor! Initially I thought it’s Brown-throated sunbird, but after I review again I was shocked to find out it’s Ruby-cheeked Sunbird! The male and female just appeared when we passed by and we got very good chance to shot at eyes level and so close to them. It’s really amazing experience and so happy to spot this gorgeous sunbird together with my birding buddy ! 😊

Here you go! The Pacific Swallow delivery the food directly into the juvenile’s mouth while it’s hovering! What a great skill and parenting love. 😊
